PEORIA, Unwell. (WMBD) — The Peoria Art Guild is beautifying the downtown branch with its 2024 Sculpture Travel.
The guild unveiled 8 fresh sculptures, together with one from Ukraine. The 2024 Sculpture Travel runs alongside either side of Washington Boulevard from the Peoria Riverfront Museum to the Bob Michel Bridge.
Greater than 500 entries have been submitted for native population leaders and artwork execs to pick out the 8 winners.
“It’s inspiration that it’s something different. That it’s something beautiful, something created with two hands. These artists recognize our city as the place that they want their sculptures to be on display. So it just gives us something different to look at on a daily basis,” stated Peoria Artwork Guild’s Government Director, Shannon Cox.
They’ll be on show for the then two years.
